Your trip sounds soooo funny. I LOL literally as you and Amber described situations. I loved the part about Amber's toilet backing up and Rob buckled up in his seat and you yelling at the RV leassor! Too much!The June-August New Yorker has a story about traveling across Russia...check it out...not as funny but interesting. Paree

i love this Tali, we did our family RV trip 2 years ago and it was so much fun, we overpacked so stuff was falling all over and we broke the bathroom window on the ceiling on the first day so when it rained u went to the bathroom in the rain. RVing is alot of fun, you will need a vacation from this vacation but it is worth every minute. Glad you're having fun, miss ya Brooke

I couldn't belive that Costner is that ego-centric. The man buys an authentic saloon, in one of the most famous wild-west towns and all he can come up with is a SHRINE TO KEVIN COSTNER AND HIS CAREER... AMAZING. Fits well with the "I'm not a real cowboy, but I played one on screen once" commercial ;-)

As Emily and I were making our way back from Seattle, we subjected ourselves to a trashy novel on CD that, coincidentally, starts out in Spearfish. A 15-year old girl's 300lb guardian drops dead in a Walmart checkout like and the girl and her 10 year old brother steal a buick and make their way to Vegas with $60 and some loose change in search of their drunk Father who ran out on them.

Can't decide whose road trip is going better, yours or theirs.

Hi! I'm enjoying the blog. Tell Tali my campsite at Pinecreast is a Four Seasons compared to the RV's you guys have....but it all sounds just like a great family vacation that will have lasting memories. Having spent some time doing grizzly research, I can tell you a few differences - unfortunately, many of the signs require one to be so close to the bear you could get eaten either way. Here is a cheat sheet: http://www.mountainnature.com/wildlife/Bears/BearID.htm. Hope there are no more bears or broken limbs.

Oh my gosh, tell the boys I saw a real Jackalop when I was 22 years old and traveling accross Wyoming and my new husband assured me yes it was!!!! I believed for years that the real thing existed because I saw it and my husband would not lead me astray. After 43 years with this man I know who Ronan takes after.
